The summer Fete was featured in the local press this year, due to the inspiration of some young members of our local community;

"Two 9 year old local school children raised £131 for charity at theWarren Parc Garden Fete this Sunday. Christian Warren-Kyle and his friend Anwen Jenkins have been busy making Magic wands, Pet rocks and Jewellery and selling sweets among other curiosities at their "charitable Emporium of Wonders.”

They were inspired by the images of the African drought on TV and their friends father’s death from cancer and wanted to do something "to help other people” (Water Aid and Marie curie) Another inspiring young person (from Machynlleth Guides) brought her tombola and Nail bar to the Warren Parc fete. Heulwen has been busy fund raising for the last few months running stalls to raise money for the shelterbox charity.”
